BEUMER Group Expands Local and International Operations from Dubai CommerCity

24 October 2024: BEUMER Group, a leader in intralogistics system solutions, is poised to expand its presence in the UAE and the broader region from its strategic location in Dubai CommerCity, the first and leading free zone dedicated exclusively to digital commerce and ecosystem, and a joint venture between Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) and Wasl Properties.

Torben Busch, Chief Executive Officer of BEUMER Group, emphasized that choosing Dubai CommerCity as a hub for its operations has been instrumental in enhancing the Group’s operational efficiency and growth strategy.

Busch noted the significant advancements being made in the logistics sector in the UAE, particularly in Dubai. These developments are creating many opportunities for companies like BEUMER, which aims to boost their market share by delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Busch said: “The Group’s goal is not limited to expansion across the region; we also seek innovation. At the same time, we are keen to consolidate our existing relationships with our clients and partners, as part of our objective to be the ideal partner that provides the best services. We are aware of the significant growth opportunities in the region and the trust our clients place in our solutions.”

We decided to move our headquarters to Dubai CommerCity at the beginning of 2023 for many reasons; most notably because the free zone provides dedicated office spaces designed to meet modern business needs.

Mr. Torben Busch, Chief Executive Officer of BEUMER Group

"Dubai CommerCity's strategic location in Dubai enhances ease of access for customers and employees alike, ensuring that commercial operations and logistics services are completed smoothly and efficiently, in addition to its advanced infrastructure and facilities.” Busch said.

“We consider Dubai CommerCity as the ideal choice to support BEUMER’s growth and operational efficiency in the region. Our presence in the free zone will contribute to achieving our expansion strategy, as it enhances our growth opportunities and facilitates our operations through its various innovative services and solutions. This growth will expand the scope of our presence in the future,” Busch added.

Busch further highlighted that BEUMER Group offers a wide range of services and solutions designed to improve logistics operations. These include handling goods, automated warehouse systems and customer support. The Group provides advanced systems for transporting, sorting, and organising goods, as well as technologies for efficiently managing parcel and baggage handling at airports.

“Our aim is to enhance operational efficiency and reliability across sectors like logistics, airports operations, and manufacturing,” Busch explained. “We also offer after-sales services, such as maintenance and training, to ensure our systems run smoothly and effectively.”

He emphasized that Dubai CommerCity’s diverse and advanced advantages help BEUMER deliver top-notch services, supporting the Group's goals and future vision.

Busch elaborated: “We’re working on forming a number of partnerships, including one with Zayed International Airport, to provide the baggage handling system for Terminal A. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the system operates reliably. BEUMER Group also handles baggage at Hamad International Airport, showcasing our commitment to efficient airport operations.”

He further added how BEUMER’s services help speed up processes and improve flexibility. “Our solutions simplify operations, reduce downtime, and boost productivity, which leads to consistent performance and fewer issues,” he noted.

“We anticipate great growth opportunities for our business. BEUMER Group will support this development through our advanced baggage handling systems, logistics solutions, and the latest warehouse automation technologies. These systems and solutions are essential to improve airport operations, enhance their efficiency, and optimize overall logistics management. As work begins on these projects, we expect increased demand for our innovative solutions, enabling us to strengthen the Group’s presence and expand its reach in the vital aviation and logistics sectors across the region,” Busch concluded.
